A private office interior concept for a senior executive at Condé Nast, located at the World Trade Center in New York. The brief: develop a new interior concept for the client's private office with spectacular views over Ground Zero and the Hudson River.
The color palette was inspired by the shifting hues of the sky and the surrounding skyscrapers at dawn and dusk. As a contrast to the building's sharp lines and glass materiality, the design introduces softness through light curtains, soft ceiling-to-floor coverings, and furniture with rounded forms.
The design also takes into account the position of the client as a powerful and internationally recognized leader, where the interior conveys both authority and warmth.
